WC26(Q) | The Official Match Thread | Cymru 7 (Seven/Saith) North Macedonia 1 | 18/11/25 | The Cardiff City Stadium

Bellamy got lucky by selecting his default attacking X1.. I'm sure Davies Moore Ampadu J.James would have started tonight..

Maybe a message there for us, pick an attacking team

Lawlor looks a class act to be fair. Thought Sheehan stepped up too.

Disappointed with Culls... no pointing! I felt lost 😉
Luckiest 7-1 victory, I've seen in a while 👀

Scotland go to the World Cup with a Pratley-esque goal to seal it!

I was talking about things like this to a friend on Monday. Games like that for Scotland, Ireland's win in the 95th minute to make the playoffs, us with wins like tonight and recent qualification campaigns, this is where I pity England fans. They don't get to enjoy moments like that, there's no real joy when they win a game. Qualifiers are a formality and then they know they'll fail against a genuinely good team at some point in every tournament. The moments of joy and ecstasy we feel don't really happen for them, certainly not very often.

Aye if they don’t win the tournament they’re disappointed. Thats a lot of disappointment.

What a stupid statement to come out after they've just put seven past a team who hadn't lost and only conceded three goals all qualifying campaign.

Yes well misquoted !!... I'm talking about Bellamy being forced to select that line up which turned out the best we could hope for. Nothing about lucky about the result..it was a great earned performance.

Not sure what it looked like on TV but I don’t think I’ve seen us play as well going forward for 90 minutes since Russia in Toulouse.

Great night and performance, just hope we’ve got a full squad available in March. Fingers crossed we get another home draw for the final (if we get there) on Thursday lunchtime.

I feel for the edgy types who claim to hate all things international football because our players may be injured or there may be some Cardiff fans or the commentator mentions Cardiff or some other such spurious nonsense. If you can’t enjoy nights like this for both Wales and especially imagine how Scotland and Scots are feeling now (and Ireland the other night) then you are essentially a soulless husk.
