We want Sheehan out

Playing silky football against a team of that quality in my opinion is a stretch. That win evoked memories for some and created new ones for others.

I've to be honest and please don't take this the wrong way. The expectations of some supporters are far higher than they realistically should be.
This is not at all what I was saying. I’m saying that we relied too much on luck in that game for me to class it as a good performance from us.

It does not mean that we didn’t do incredibly well when the time came. It was a smash and grab but one that we’ll all remember far more than any game this season.

It wasn’t my intention to create a debate about the Forest game.

It’s just my personal opinion, and it’s what these boards are all about.

Playing 5 at the back at home to Man City is something I can tolerate. Selecting a back 5 against our peers is shit arsery of the first order.
What Swansea team we have loved have ever conceeded the midfield area at home and tried to scratch out a point???
Incredibly frustrating and disappointing - teams should fear coming to Swansea - not look at yhe opposition and smell the fear in the home team.
Sheehan needs to explain what the tactical plan is that he is executing and how he expects the selected team to doninate the game.
Feet to the fire time / because right now he is managing like a non league team going yo a premier league team in the cup - when the reslity is we are playing our peers at home in a league we are trying to get promoted from.
Go at them hell for leather and lose 1-4 Ok fine - BUT TODAY WAS AND IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE 💩😞

Can anyone genuinely explain how despite this being our worst points return at 15 games in the Championship since relegation that this is not as bad as Williams or Martin?

Williams' implosion happened at Christmas. Sheehan's has just been a slow dirge

I don’t think this is a bad period, I think we’ve been pretty underwhelming from day one this season. Can anyone point to a good performance that wasn’t a 20 minute period in a game? Sheffield Wed maybe but that’s it.

I really liked us end of last season and I hoped that the caretaker pattern wouldn’t repeat itself but 15 games in, it looks like it has.
I know alot of people don't put much on pre season and all of that, but we was shocking in every match in pre season against mostly lower teams. We turned up on first day of season and was shocking. Had a couple of OK games and really have just continued. I tried to give Sheehan benefit of the doubt but it's warn thin. Every manager has to deal with the fixtures and getting players used to the championship. Somehow Sheehan thinks he has time. He doesn't.

That’s my take away from today (and other games this season) the players don’t look as if they know what to do. There doesn’t seem to be clarity in our play. How many times do we see someone stand on the ball for 5 or 6 seconds, assess their options just to clip it over the top and lose the ball?

I really liked the goal we scored and I think it shows these players can play. The fact it was against Ipswich (who are no mugs) indicates that these players have a few gears left to go up.
The goal we scored was and always has been the best way we need to play. It's been like it season after season, and for what ever reason not 1 manager is able to consistently do this since Laudrup. I'm talking about quick, snappy football, one touch and with intention. The moment we go backwards and slow down we look terrible. Martin went extreme and played at the back. Cooper was boring but effective. Duff tried but that failed and so on.

🤣

He wasn't half as bad as some made out on here but his teams couldn't defend for toffee.
The days of us being the 6th highest scorers in the league are long gone though.

I agree also that he seems to have gone off the rails in regards of loving himself but if I was smashing Lucy Pinder then I would probably be the same 🤣
To be fair it's hard for me to judge Russ when he was here because I was fast asleep in the stadium during the overwhelming majority of his tenure.
