• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Panorama - Makes for grim watching.

Note, there is good and bad in all professions but The Met seems a right old shit pit and has done for a while now. Probably only a tiny fraction of them all but still a bad look for them.
I watched it last night, quite shocking these people are rife within the force and I'm sure it's just not restricted to the Met.

As you all know I was in the Met from mid 90's when Stephen Lawrence was murdered in a racist attack, the subsequent Macpherson enquire found the Met to be institutionally racist, its depressing and grim that nothing has really changed in all this time. The Met is and always will be a right wing institution, so many are freemasons

How prevalent is membership of the Masons amongst the front line P.C. or is it just the management level? Just finished reading The Hallmarked Man by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) which touches on the subject of the police and Freemasonry.

Currently watching Power on Netflix. Really enjoying, it’s six seasons, and I will say the first few episodes of season one were a bit of a chore, but it sprung to life thereafter.

Finally finished Power off earlier this week, quite enjoyed it! Brilliant characters, Ghost, Tommy, Kannan. Going to take a little break, then start watching the spin off series.

Never seen that. Wife likes it.
Slow horses series 1,2,3 is superb television, 4&5 not bad. Better than Blue lights imo, which is entertaining and I like but too ‘soapy’ for my perfect taste.

Unexpectedly I’m enjoying celebrity traitors.
