• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The Night Manager returns to BBC1 on New Years day, for those who watched the first series, I'm looking forward to it.👍
The first series was based on John Le Carre's book wasn't it. I read it some years ago I think. Excellent, of course. This will have a lot to live up to. I'll look forward to it though.

Yes it was Monny, the first series was excellent. Cant wait for the new one, I hope it lives up to my expectations, I cant believe it's nearly 10 years since the first one.👍

Shed and buried. It's like running some hair-brained enterprise with a few of your best mates. My yardstick for programmes like this is 'Woukd I like to spend some time in these people's company?' and the answer is a resounding yes.

Tulsa King, Season 3, Absolutely great stuff. One episode left, and it’s great viewing. I don’t know how it works, but it just does.!

For me it’s a combination of The Godfather and The A Team 🙂

Anyone watched "The Chair Company" on Sky?

It's one of those slightly uncomfortable comedies (like a scaled down funnier version of "The Office").

Season 2 of Landman on Paramount. Only watched the first episode and it doesn’t disappoint. I’d go as far as saying Landman is the best show I’ve watched for years, can’t think of one I’ve enjoyed more

Lazarus on Netflix anybody? Apparently written by American crime author Harlan Coben but set in an English city (London?) with an English cast. Quite entertaining thriller.
It's about a prison psychiatrist who goes home because his dad (also a psychiatrist) has apparently commited suicide, although the truth is murkier. In the father's grandiose office, the son starts seeing visions of his dad and other dead people linked to the dad, all of whom relate different snippets of the story to him. Mix in other family members, a murdered younger sister and a best mate who happens to be a policeman, and it all gets rather complicated, but watchable.

Episode 2 is excellent too 👍 Superb series and I’m not a fan of country music but it just fits the narrative so well.
