• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Lazarus on Netflix anybody? Apparently written by American crime author Harlan Coben but set in an English city (London?) with an English cast. Quite entertaining thriller.
It's about a prison psychiatrist who goes home because his dad (also a psychiatrist) has apparently commited suicide, although the truth is murkier. In the father's grandiose office, the son starts seeing visions of his dad and other dead people linked to the dad, all of whom relate different snippets of the story to him. Mix in other family members, a murdered younger sister and a best mate who happens to be a policeman, and it all gets rather complicated, but watchable.
Finished it over the weekend, a good watch with lots of twists.

Prisoner 951 on iPlayer is excellent.

The story of Nazarin Zaghari Ratcliffe’s imprisonment in Iran. 4 hour long episodes.

Watch it and weep.

Good deal this,. Paramount is a good channel, loads of good stuff to watch.

Edit: It’s 50% off, either a 3 month subscription or yearly.

Just watched The crystal cuckoo spanish crime drama/thriller, 6 episodes, a few brutal moments, decent watch

The first four episodes of the final season of Stranger Things are now on Netflix. They’re on my weekend watchlist.

Gone back to Tulsa King on Paramount as Landman season II release one episode a week. TK is tidy enough.

Kingdom with David Attenborourgh dialogue is my catch up TV viewing at the moment .

Sometimes The BBC can get it right without the outside unnencessary Politics .

I just watched a Netflix four part US police documentary on locating missing people.

Just about every person featured who wasn't a police employee was utterly broken. Poverty, drugs, prostitution and killing was endemic.

"Missing: Dead or Alive"

They're all dead

Cannabis Cove on iPlayer. Documentary about a cannabis smuggling gang in Pembroke in the 80’s, enjoyed the first episode.
