What exactly is going on at the club?

This Morris guy had apparently at some stage intended to invest in Spurs but when that fell through decided, because of his Welsh connections, to invest in Swansea. If that is the case, you would have thought his investment would not be of the kind of level which has been mentioned already, but something more considerable. The fact that Coleman has come in as chairman and moving to Swansea would also suggest he's not just adding a few pennies to the hedgefund with Silverstein and the idiot bros. Perhaps that is just wishful thinking, presuming they would be more ambitious owners, but one thing is for sure, something isn't adding up here.

In a good or bad way mate, that's the question 🤔

I’d assume good, people like Nigel Morris being involved with the club can only be a good thing. Just depends on how much say and power he gets in my opinion.

I still maintain that this discussion went beyond an investment and was more towards buying the club

We know that the current owners "want out" - they openly advertised this and spent a lot of money trying to actually do that over the course of time.

A straight forward investment would surely have been completed by now, a full blown purchase less so.

For me this was the end goal of the ownership the moment they got the Trust to back down on the legal action

Just my view anyway

The other 2 coming on board are just to dilute the publics eye on Morris, Morris is the guy who wants to get things done at Swansea.

Cravatt does too. Definitely.

That's good to hear. Don't really know muck of the back story with Cravatt but it looks like Coleman is just your usual up market hanger on.

No idea what the score is with him to be honest.

Oh for the good old days before Sky, Bosman and money ruined the idea of fair competition in football for ever.

Edit. Not for a moment saying that the Swans haven’t been plagued by owners seeking a quick buck before of course!

I used to keep saying that the game would implode on itself, but its going more the other way, with endless amounts of money coming into the game, which can't be good for clubs like us, I'd have thought but who knows.

No one outside the club knows what’s happening. Even those pretending they do. *coughdapscough*
