• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Where are our talented youngsters and if we have any how are they being coached to play.

As I posted in the yesterday’s match day thread it was depressing to see Sam Parker receive the ball in acres of space only for him to immediately play the ball back.

If this is the DNA running through the youth levels then we’re in real trouble.

My belief is that when the u21s have trained with the 1st team, it us their willingness to move the game forward that is stopping them from getting chances. SP and JG must be willing to play the ball backwards at all times. Watch it get coached into OBrien and Delacroix.

Lissah
Parker
Lloyd
Watts
Govea
Congreve
Cotterill
Nzingo
Wilson

All players with potential though arguable if they are ready for the championship but would certainly become more serious squad contenders if we were to get relegated.

I would give Parker a run in the side instead of ronaldo crapo

Ronald is 10x the player Eom is atm I prefer the swap to be Parker for Eom.
Ronald may have gone backwards in terms of wing play, but at least he gets stuck in and doesn't shirk a challenge. Eom is like a five year old playing with the big boys. He's constantly bullied off the ball, when he can reach it at all, that is.

We saw glimpses of Govea last season. Thought he played well away at Wednesday and at home to Qpr. Can’t be any worse than the crap we’ve got in the first team atm.

As much as it pains me to say it, I thought Ronald was best player on Wednesday. Even Aidan Newhouse would have got on the end of some of his crosses unlike Vip. Not saying he would have scored obviously lol
Eom would be challenged at Under 12s, Saturday morning at Cwrt Herbert.

And Nzingo has just joined an American team on loan until December 2025!

At last we thinking about our Academy we previously thought of closing, or even giving/selling to CCFC!
