• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Given that the New Director of Football has previously worked with Williams, I think Coleman et al will stick with Williams because he (Coleman) knows the two can work with each other.
What I do expect to see happen over the summer is for the club to move a few players on whilst bringing in a new cohort (based on this IT system) which the (Coleman and the DOF) believe will provide Williams with the tools to improve playing fortunes.

Swansea play a time-warp of 2010 tactics. The counters were established 10 years ago, nobody successful plays that way any more, the world has moved on.

Watching the opposition, you can almost hear the briefing they were given, the tactics they have been told to use, that are very easy to outwit, but you would have to move on from 2010 to do that.

Have we got a style of play under Williams? If we have i can't figure it out to be honest...

It's taken me a long time to admit it, probably only this season, but you're right. Time warp is a perfect way of describing our football team of these last few years.

Where we were once ahead of the curve, looking to do things differently, we are now just stale. There is no visionary at the club, like Huw Jenkins was during his first 10-12 years. There's no one looking to find an edge.

It's just the same soup all the time, increasingly watered down, then reheated and re-served.

We need something new.

Crazy. Absolutely Crazy. They must be drunk. What games have they been watching. Saying that, and not to single anyone out, there seems to be a select few on Tiktok, 1 popular channel where he thought we played well last night. But he is Welsh and a Swans Fan. Well I say fan, he likes Plymouth and was happy for them with result last night. Not like it's down to youth, but some need to wise up. It's more than a day out or evening and a piss up. It's many of our lives. Day in Day out.
You from the Rhondda mate?
