• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

9 goals 7 assists for him so far, we should seriously be looking to recalling him, he’s only 21, selling him for 1M doesn’t seem like good buisness the way he’s producing the goods and we bought him for 750K.

This is quite possibly the deal that finances the incoming movements.

Back on subject boys - why on earth was Whittaker loaned out in the first place?

Edit: That’ll teach me not to read second page after Darren/Max love in.

I said it several times that we should never have loaned him out, even if he only got half the numbers he has for Plymouth for us it would still be viewed as a very successful half season for a number 10.

Pace, willing to shoot, good at linking play and finding team mates for assists.
Not sure what more one would realistically want from an attacking midfield player.

He wouldn't have got the chances here, Martin wouldn't have given him the opportunities I'm convinced of that, he's worked his way in at Plymouth gained the confidence and trust of the manager and the improvements and performances have followed, good luck to him.

Not sure its given Martin the confidence to give him a run of games for him to have a chance though, time will tell I suppose. I think he's better off at Plymouth for now at least.

Exactly what RM hates.

He's on target for far more goals and assists than Brennan Johnson managed in League One.

Slightly older than he was when Johnson was at Lincoln but they're both 21 now. It would be utterly mad if we sold him.

Johnson was being linked with £25m moves last summer after a full season in the Championship. We surely have to give him the opportunity next season.

So if he’s coming back, I’d assume that means Ogbene was a pipe dream?
