First half I thought he was quiet except for right at the end of the half, his run and cross Fulton should have done better.

Second half he seemed to be everywhere, needs to build up a bit of composure when he has half chances but I thought it was all in all a very promising showing from him.

There is a good player there, alot to ask today but the experience will do him good.

Yes, I agree that given time, this is the player we have been missing. Well..............one of them.

Ayew in Attacking mid and Lowe and Whittaker upfront could be a way forward depending on Hourihanes injury.

excellent balsy performance, scores a goal there any other week. Well done younh man and put AA to shame

Whittaker added zip but his shooting was easily defended.
Certainly adds more energy than Lowe.

The main problem today was the bloke who decided to start him in a local derby when we'd also just seen our rival for 2nd place pull 6 points ahead in the earlier game. Stupid decision.

Whittaker looks like a good prospect though. Just not ready to have all the responsibility on his shoulders. His mobility showed up Ayew for what he's become, that's one of the few positives.

Whittaker offered more of a goal threat today than Lowe has in his previous 6 outings at least

Offered more of a goal threat than anyone else in our team as well today.

I think threat is being a bit generous. He's got potential though, that's clear to see.

You can call it generous by all means and you may have a point

But I stand by the opening statement with or without the word threat and he is a better option than Lowe

Great post I couldn’t agree more.

Not the finished article obviously but a good player that badly needs a good run of games. Showed more in the second 45 minutes than Lowe has for the last ten games.

Think he may have been a bit better today, had he been given regular 10-20 minute cameos in games before this.

He needs game time to get to any potential he has.

spot on ABS, as would Lowe would have been had he been rotated with whittaker over past 10 games. thats all on cooper

Straws Clutching,Whittaker was ordinary the same as Fulton who some people believe was bossing the midfield.
