I like him, but he thrives off of a high tempo game.Views?
I think at the moment, he seems to be playing or receiving the ball with his back to the opposition goal when he would be more pro active whilst facing it.I like him, but he thrives off of a high tempo game.
He isn't the kind of player to beat a man from a standing start with a sudden burst of pace, instead he is the kind of player who uses clever one touch layoffs when players are moving around him. The more moving parts there are the better the performance we will see out of him, when the football is turgid and walking pace like today he will try to force things but only a small fraction of those (if any) will succeed because too many of his team mates will be on their heels.
