Widell has shown nothing to deserve a start. Yalcouye though, yes definitely.

When did he have the chance to show it ? He’s hardly had a look in. Sounds a lot like he was brought in before the manager arrived and he simply hasn’t the desire or capacity to integrate him

The assumption would have to be that Widdell isn't looking good enough in training to convince the manager. Maybe that's the right call, maybe it isn't. We're so desperate for a creative spark that I'd like to see him get a chance, but he did very little on the pitch in his Cup appearances. Right now I have no idea what kind of player he is.
