Sheehans downfall was moving away from what got him the job in the first place.

When you're a caretaker the pressure is off, nothing to lose and all that. The day he was made permanent risk versus rewards became a lot more important, he's in the hot seat and the buck stops with him.

The notion that the man he brought in to support him was after his job is a bit of a bold accusation based on the fact he's offering him advice through a game.

The manager has the final say, to suggest the downturn in form was down to DoD is total conjecture.

Also it was clear on match days that Sheehan and him was having a few heated debates. Add to that the way he left and attitude to the club and players. Also the way the last coaching staff did a better job. Who knows. Yes I'm in the camp something was off.. But I have no facts to this.. Just my simple mind

Doesn't say much for Sheehan if he lets someone below him wield so much influence on the team and results suffer.

Exactly whichever way you look at it the buck stops with Sheehan. Personally think it's a bunch of speculation people have come up with in order to blame someone else and paint Sheehan in a better light. Regardless he was the one who wanted O'Dea and he was the one who chose to listen to him even though he is the main man.
