• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

😁 Thanks for confirming Michu.

Said his farewells to the Notts County players early this morning and headed down to South Wales........was in before all the players to greet them as they walked in 😉

Once again you show you aren't ITK negotiations are still on going...he still might not come

Others have confirmed that he did take training yesterday, from what I have seen the issue is compensation negotiations and nothing else.
There is every reason that Notts County would have given him permission to start working with us already to give the caretaker manager the opportunity to work with the players before their next game.

😂
Where does it say he might not come?
Or is that something you added for affect!

Tell people enough times that a dog is a cat and people will believe it 🤔

It's always worth adding a disclaimer for the sensitive souls.

He was down here yesterday for sure, Notts County even had one of their senior pros taking training yesterday.
That would happen if the manager wasn't there see.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all.
Usually for me if you and magic_michu confirm the same thing then I am pretty confident that its normally true

 magicdaps is renowned for not having a clue. There's at least a decade of awful predictions backing that up

Wales online reporting external paperwork holding up confirmation, you know if they’ve got the news it’s happening they’re always last to know

Does that mean our fax machine isn’t working properly again?

What is external paperwork? Is it different to paperwork?

Still waiting

There was initially real hope that Williams would be confirmed yesterday evening. However, it's now gone 11am the following day and we're still waiting for an official announcement.

It's understood Swansea are still waiting to receive the green light on some external paperwork before they can rubber-stamp the appointment - and that's what's causing the hold-up.

Williams has been in and around the place in the last 24 hours, although contrary to social media rumours he didn't take training yesterday.

There's hope he will have an opportunity to work with some of the players today, although it remains to be seen whether he will actually be in the dugout for Saturday's clash with Morecambe.

WOL reporting he didn't take training yesterday....

If WOL are saying he didn't then you can officially say that he did🙈

Pouring cold water on it as he is not 100% officially signed and sealed is all that is.
