This defensive weakness you talk of isn’t helped by our marauding full backs who are rarely in the correct position when required to be.
Absolutely, I would say that’s the biggest problem. I do think Key and Tymon have talent, but neither of them are natural FBs. Also doesn’t help that Grimes spends so much time in the sweeper position but doesn’t actually sweep when it is needed.

Key & Tymon are far more suited to playing as wing backs but we never set up that way & haven't got 3 decent centre backs anyway.
Key is never going to be any good at this inverted full back nonsense, he just doesn't seem to have the football intelligence to know when to give the pass. The number of times he just keeps going until he runs into trouble & loses the ball is ridiculous.
Why our manager can't see it's not working is beyond frustrating

Fucking hell, missed this thread last night. Has all the makings of a Sunday classic this did 🤣🤣

Get this Martin beta version reject out of our Club. - déjà vu to the very worst days under Martin.
This was yet another stinking capitulation of Martinesque proportions, in so many ways. And he just stands there like the gormless wet Willy he is.

He shouldn’t ever be allowed back in the locker room, or Fairwood or even his penthouse in Morgan’s the freakin fraud of a chancer.

Michael Duff at Swansea - 21 games - W6 D6 L9

Luke Williams - last 21 games - W6 D5 L10

Williams has a better starting 11, worse depth, but it's hardly inspirational

Grimes needs to go

Another shambolic display of leadership
