• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Williams has to go. His stupid nonsensical ways were largely masked by Grimes' unique abilities, commitment to our legendary playing heritage and ofc leadership on and off the pitch.

Grimes left to get away from a clueless, fraud of a manager. Fed up with his nonsensical, bonkers self-indulgent ways, crap man-management and BS. He had the opportunity to work with Lampard, a proper midfield legend, to learn and kick-on from the best. No-brainer, in many ways.

Without Grimes at the helm, we are already sinking, cast adrift unrecognizably from our proper playing identity, a mishmash of headless sheeple with no clue what they're doing on the grass. Our brand identity has been diluted beyond any recognition since Martin and now Williams pitched up with their polished .ppts.

We are rudderless with Williams - a proper fraud who's sinking us. We're in a maelstrom, heading for the rocks with Williams at the helm. We know he's just like his mentor Martin who'll jump ship....
He's a sunk cost, get rid, 'prompto'.

You could argue the players aren't good enough, and to a certain extent that is true. But to lay the blame solely at the hands of the players' quality is to ignore the fact that the results have fallen off a cliff since he was linked with West Brom and the relationship between manager and players started unravelling. It's clear that they are capable of more than they're currently showing, and that now has to fall on the manager. The players can't be changed, the manager can. To get a replacement for Williams must now be a far greater priority than 'dipping into the free agent market' as the jurnos like saying. Do I think we'll go down? We probably won't in my opinion. But as it's still a possibility, we need to act now before that possibility starts looking like a probability.

Apparently someone was on the 5 live phone in giving the players, Willie and Coalhole both barrels on Saturday. More of that beyond Wales online needed to embarrass dumb and dumber. Yanks hate public ridicule.

Who’s starting the chant we want Williams out Saturday then who sits in the east? Done it with Mr Bradley and he left.

For some bizarre reason, you’re more likely to hear Willie’s barmy army.
