As many will agree it's felt like a chore to watch any Swans match well, since December.

With Williams now gone, I'm actually feeling a little optimistic and looking forward to Saturday.

OK, so we don't have new manger yet and we might lose, but as long as we see a team wanting to play and more positive and pressing, then anything is better than a Williams team.

We can talk about Coleman and not trusting him hiring the right person. We won't know not until at least the fans forum. But here is hoping new director of sport and team can find a gem and not another league 1 type of manager.

I must urge caution.

Sheehans football last time wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing and he had Paterson to dig us out of the cachu when needed. We don't have any spark now.

Can't see things improving much, just need to scrape a few results somehow until the summer somehow.

Agree. Not expecting miracles nor am I advocating for him to be given opportunity. But not seeing Williams on the touch line and any where near the team is step forward.

Saturday is about result, not about performance. We can worry about how we win later, let’s just address the priority of avoiding relegation.
True. 100%. But I'll take a performance as well. I don't want to win the match with a team acting like they have under Williams and scrape over the line. As that won't get us to safety. You can only ride your luck for so long. I'm not asking for a Real Madrid Performance, but improvement.

I have to say it's been a chore to watch us for much longer than that.
Occasional games aside, we have largely been slow, lethargic & ponderous for the whole of Williams' time, Duff was a shambles in general and Martin was largely the same.
I don't think change will happen overnight with Sheehan, but as I said elsewhere, hopefully the players will actually try now he's gone.

Yea I get that, Williams had to go (although the question the boards decision to sack him without a replacement lined up). But Sheehan isn't going to be able to even get them fitter by Saturday either.

I'm preparing myself for this to be potentially worse.

You would like to think they have, but maybe I'm the exception but I couldn't take him being in the dug out any more not for a single second. Literally getting him away from the team cannot make things worse. How can it? Also don't hold breath, but maybe new manager by next forum? I can wait, getting the right person all matters.

Andy Coleman -

The Club is committed to holding this event. Given the timing of the managerial change, however, the Club has decided to postpone the event for two weeks so we are in a better position to discuss the future direction of Swansea City.

Just tried to listen to Sheehan's press conference and has to stop. We desperately need a new manager in asap. It is going to be ver much the same until this happens.

Sheehan needs to leave soon after that as well.

He'll always loom in the background with every manager we have now. Perhaps unwittingly but fact is managers know that if they lose their job, the guy who's been helping out coaching will be having their job.

Curt was different, he was a club legend and had fulfilled every role. Sheehan is just a weird auxiliary manager type.

Let's hope Cabango and 1 or 2 other senior staff can rattle some cages to eek out a result.
Not all that hopeful tbh, will take a point here all day.

There were a lot of people optimistic after Grimes left, it's been a shitshow ever since to be honest, not that i was disappointed to see him move on. As Coops said, it's all about results from here on in.

Let's hope whoever the new manager is wants a clean sweep of the coaching staff and that includes O'Leary.

We just have to tick off those 9 points from 13 games. It should be easy. It almost certainly won't be. Place will be like a morgue too. I think I might make the effort on Saturday to add my voice in support now we've got our willie out.

51 and 49 points needed to be safe the past 2 years, so we might need more than 9.
