• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Jamaica knocking out Brazil what a shock

These top nations can't just turn up anymore.

Jamaica are no minnows by any imagination but have grafted beyond belief to get 2 points against both France and Brazil and deservedly go into the knockouts.

Farewell Deutschland, knocked out by a South Korea team who had nothing but pride to play for.

Thus it opens up generously for England, Nigeria in R16 and then potentially the winner of Colombia v Jamaica in the QF

USA v Sweden on now.

I would love it if the Swedes stuff them, love it.

Dive dive dive again. Great to see the ref not falling for their shite, even if it means the turds hang on.

Oops, wrong thread 🤣

Personally not interested in watching the womens game but that may change. From what I've read of this read the only thing that concerns me is what minute Columbia actually scored the winner against Germany.

Couldn't get my head around history repeating itself, and an immensely talented England number 7 kicking out at an opposition player and receiving a red card in the knockout stages of the WC, before the match going to a penalty shootout.

The difference this time England being on the winning side of the shootout.
