Woodman

More errors in him than good games tbh. The only good part of his game ironically are penalties

Woodman is a good shot stopper, has good and bad days when it comes to commanding his box and taking crosses and is great at penalties. His worst attribute and arguably the most important one to us is his distribution.

Not a Woodman fan but Ederson would be on a loser here

Players too slow in thought and movement for the short pass

Team not physically strong enough to win the ball at the top end of the pitch

Perhaps but for a ball playing goalkeeper the staple ball from a pass back or a goal kick is the dinked ball to the fullback, Woodman easily sends half of these straight into touch.

He had loads of opportunities to play a quick short pass yesterday, and instead did that stupid standing on the ball thing of his until Brentford were back in position and then either played it to a marked man, hoofed it straight to them or, his speciality, whanged it into the stands trying to chip it to the full back. Shot stopper? Aye, except when he falls on his arse and watches shots go past him that others would stop no problem. If he was our youngster that we were developing I’d have more patience, but to play him because Newcastle won’t touch him and to save them money while our own youngster rots. No thanks.

We've learned nothing about Woodman that we didn't already know last season. Meanwhile Steven Benda has wasted a year.

By all accounts Benda is highly rated, he had a great season on loan last year. I would love to see him between the sticks next season to give him a chance and see what he can really do.

Hes been hot and cold all season, Sprakey like, wouldnt blame him for the penalty, any contact and they go down these days, years ago forwards would have put the ball and keeper in the net.

His positioning is poor. Had that 3rd goal gone in he'd have been at fault.
His kicking is poor.
He looks weak and needs to build his body up.
No shoulders and no legs.

Away from Woodman, what's the chances of Gibbs White /Mcburnie returning? Both have issues where they are....not sure on how expensive tho. Good idea or step backwards?

They are better than what we currently have Saint, so it's a yes from me

If Cooper is here I can see Gibbs White coming back in on loan, McBurnie? Would be great but he’s reportedly off to Rangers for 15M.

We can’t afford those players except on loan. Gibbs White got a few games at the end of the season and much will depend on Wolves’ new manager.
