Wrecsam

Agreed to sign Keiffer Moore and are after Conor Coady
No change of plan then. Still signing over the hill players. 33 when the season kicks of. Wrexhams dynamic duo - Rodriguez 36 and Moore 33

I feel the buying experienced player from leagues above strategy has worked well for the Nat, Lg2 & Lge1. I honestly don't see it working in the Championship but what do I know.

They wanted Tom Cairney 34 before they got LOB

I've never seen any other championship clubs looking for 30+ players as a standard approach.

And the high wages on these? Know they can afford it but they may well get stuck if they dont win promo or get relegated. The Netflix series will eventually end, Once the fairytale story comes to a stop.....

They do love a striker, they got Sam Smith as well, and allegedly getting Broadhead.

At the moment they're not worried about sell on value etc.

Many memories of the past. People winning the lottery and not long after being skint because they spent money buying expensive things, shiny baubles, and then suddenly were broke again. Hope it doesnt happen to them.

Guess you can add Windass at 31 to the list too

I guess to be fair to them they have only spent about 9m so far. What would worry me is the wage bills

They absolutely throw the whole "we're Welsh" vibe in everyone's faces don't they. don't they. Ironic since they only have 2 Welsh players in the whole squad. One who has just singed (Danny ward) and another youngster who hasn't made an appearance in a competitive fixture.

They speak proper Welsh up there as well mind. None of this kitchen Welsh or Wenglish. I know they have Scouse accents(In wrexham any way) but realistically speaking North Walians are just as Welsh, if not moreso, than South Walians. They are ALL fking strange though. As Monmouth would attest.
The Patagonia shirt is cute. We have should have thought of that. I always remember one of the Aregentine internationals on one of the FootballManager/ChampionshipManager games had Welsh as a 2nd language. In fact there were two. Gabriel Batistuta and Gabriel Heinze . It looks like a nice shirt. I used to wear an Argentina shirt when living and working in England becuase it was funny. Research several contentious England vs Argentina games for context(Maradona/Beckham)

Moore & Cody only 2m each apparently. They are not really splashing the cash on transfer fees so far. Just wages, which, at the end of the day is the main cost of a player. Hull are in deep shite cos of high wages so these 30+ player contracts might well cause them a problem in a couple of years.

Doesn’t really matter how many Welsh players they have (although it looks like they might be adding another in Broadhead). Those Hollywood owners have done more to promote the Welsh language and culture than many Welsh people have. So fair dos to them I say. It’s a bit ott for me, but they still deserve credit.
