• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

We are never going to score unless we get a new striker in January. But with the poor supporting service, I wonder how much difference it might actually make !

Anyway - until then I suggest a 7-3-0 formation. Drop "all" our "strikers". Target is continuous nil-nil scorelines. Just go as far as the halfway line, stop, play sideways, then backwards. Repeat. Oh...that sounds familiar though !

If we can't get a striker in January, then carry on the tactics. Unfortunately, this will only give a max 47 points for the season. If there are three worse teams than us, then maybe we will scrape by. Last year Plymouth managed to save themselves with 51 points.

But seriously, apart from the defence (and on the whole Vigouroux is ok, despite yesterday) - the rest of the squad/system is garbage. Maybe Franco excepted, Eom at times

I've given up any expectation of entertainment. Just draw however we can, or even fluke a win by an OG ( Norwich ! )

Year on year it's a notch downwards with overall poor player recruitment. Can't blame the Manager for everything....I reckon even Pep would struggle !

Just what is the strategy of our current owners ? Serious question !

Parking the bus may be as effective. There must be at least 4 pacy players between the senior side and under 23s, so I'd park the bus and put one up top and say "right, you just need to run like a loony when we put one over top of their defence on the counter, and remember you can give 100% because you will be subbed in 30 mins". Then repeat this on 30th and 60th minute.

To get by as best as they can with a small squad and on modest wages and hopefully the management and team over achieve.
They have a safety net with the manager and it seems to be playing out for them on the direction if pointing fingers at the manager.

Keep quiet, keep a distance.......Silverstein and now Coleman are keeping quiet aswell.
This is the time when the screw should be turned on the board but unfortunately they are playing alot of fans a blinder.

They didn't park the bus yesterday though did they.
We deserved to win that yesterday by atleast 2 if it wasn't for our poor finishing.

Having 2 senior strikers and needing to start them due to our issues and having no striker from the bench.

We didn't deserve anything yesterday, Millwall did the job. End of.

We weren't very good but didn't deserve to lose, we created a few decent chances & apart from their goal they created nothing really.
Shooting from the edge of the box occasionally might bl@@dy help though

Spot on, every word of it.

They're playing a lot of our fans like a fiddle.

Every manager since relegation is just a human flak shield for them.

The sooner we get relegated to the bottom division and get these fucking yanks out the better. Death by a thousand cuts at the moment.

I don't want League Two football. It's crap. But I am becoming increasingly sympathetic to the idea of going down to League One, because I strongly suspect the only reason the Yanks are lingering on here is because we're still one tier away from the PL riches. I believe they'll sell up if/when that carrot is no longer dangling.

We need them gone asap.
