• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Ronald

You can blame Williams's coaching as much as you like, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, well....

We've got too many of these players in our squad. I'm sure most of them absolutely love it when the heat starts being turned up on the manager because it deflects from their own shortcomings.

I find it increasingly difficult to debate topics with people who continue to think we have a good enough squad to compete at this level. Vig, Key (RB), Cab/Darling (poor yesterday and I know you may not agree with them), Franco (though he's not the messiah some make him out to be) are my only good enoughs. I think Grimes is our best midfielder BUT I believe Williams may have destroyed him as a player. I don't know if he'll be able to ever leave his comfort of CBM. I'd keep Cullen and Cooper as squad players too. Naughton and Allen, too old. Tymon ,well, he can assist apparently. Don't get me started on the 4 musketeers (Eom, Ronald, Bianchini and Vip). They're all new versions of Tommy Mutton and Aidan Newhouse.

The squad is good enough not to be humiliated by the likes of Portsmouth, Hull and Cardiff.

That is correct. We're not that bad.
Absolutely

If you actually think about yesterday, they didn't create anything of note really, we gave them two goals and they scored from a corner

Our suicide football is literally killing us

Performances and results due to the incompetence in the dugout.
Spot on.

The obsession some of our challenged types still have with the failed Martinesque brand is now way beyond laughable.

Managers like Williams destroy and erode value - Ronald has regressed almost beyond recognition - just as wide-boys regressed and got bombed by his menacing mentor Martin.

We have the players, we have the resources we now just need a proper manager deserving of us, our fans and our ambitions.

Players used to leave the Swans and do nothing.

Now it's the opposite. They leave and progress.
