Apparently there's been rumored interest in him from Coventry for a while. Would be a quirk of fate if they decided to get Grimes instead and we sign their original target to replace Grimes.

If (massive, massive 'if') we manage to sign Kyprianou, and announce Milker Widdell, we're in an okay spot until the end of the season in midfield.

Should we also manage to squeeze Low in (unlikely, but WO and BBC Sport both said there's something in it still), it's actually an alright window overall.

The issue, once again, is the lack of proactiveness. Leaving it all until the last minute. I sound like my mother critiquing, but it's such an amateur means of behaving

Even if we signed Kyprianou, I think we need at least one more midfielder through the door. We've been playing without a No 10 all season (no, Cullen has not 'solved' our no 10 problem) so we need someone who can play there ideally. Long-term that might be Widell, but we need something to get us to the summer.

Widdell isn’t coming in until next season.

Exactly we all want to see a more progressive set up, now we don’t have Matt telling everyone to slow down.
I reckon you’re going to be disappointed. It’s not any one player that’s dictating our cluelessness on the ball.

Definitely Williams is a culprit of it, but constantly noticed Grimes doing it to the players, and don’t forget he loved Martinball, Martin was the reason he signed a new deal here in his words, that’s his favoured play style to bump stats up.

Yes.

People forget, early that summer when Cooper was still there before Martin came in, Grimes was agitating to leave. His agent was name dropping him left right and centre with other clubs. It was only after Cooper left and Martin came in he signed another deal, giving his "approval" to the club's choice of new coach.

Think we'll have a quiet few days now, with the game on Saturday.
Then another 'busy' 48 hrs until the window shuts.
I think in reality, we'll get 2 in at the most.

Think it'll be Widdell and Kyprianou, with my fingers crossed for a centre-half. If it's just the first two, we are fucked for 6 months.
