Wales Online has a piece quoting Wilder saying they've bid for a centre-half, but didn't say it was Darling, unless I missed something.

They come out with these blasé statements without knowing anything about the club or the situation.

If they go up this season, he'll end up on the bench or reserves and loaned back to the championship next year anyway. He'll go there for cover and that's it.

I rarely have a clue what is going on within the inner workings of Swansea City AFC, but it's always been that way. It was 4 (or so) guys having ownership and a small ownership by the Trust. Now we're owned by a Consortium and it's even more insane.

But the last few transfer windows have been completely unhinged on times.

I go on every hour to the BBC transfer page. Every fucking club in the league is signing someone bar us. And, in case it causes confusion, I mean signing players who are available this season. It's fucking shocking.
