• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No, but you do get bums on seats, increased enthusiasm for the club, better merchandise sales, more revenue, attracts better players, higher league position as a result, rinse and repeat.
Think it was best turnout this season 16k+. Not sure that is gonna help bring people back into the stadium. Alot of talk about Swansea Way. What that is etc. But I was bored and felt like boring cooper ball. It got a result but Sheehan isn't for me if he wants us to be like this.

If they judge him on results then it’s all his.

If they judge him performance and tactics, they should not look further than 3rd May.

I should imagine he was told "just keep us up"

It was the worst helping of MartinCooperWillyball with extra Carvalhal sauce.

We were lucky as hell it didn’t backfire. They came close quite a few times.
They didn't have any clear cut chances until the Joe Allen tackle.

Their best chance was the half chance that shot into the side netting in the first half and the long range shot straight at Vigouroux in the second.

The formation we started with was good against Leeds as they want to press high and aggressively leaving space to exploit in behind. Derby were camped to defend and time waste and rely on set pieces / counter attacks to get anything out of the game.

I agree though we were lucky that it didn't backfire, it easily could have.

I Would be disappointed if he doesn't go with a back 4 and wingers on Wednesday.

Today was a team set up not to lose rather than go out and win, we got lucky but that style of ay doesnt really tend to have much longevity.

16k+ but just under 2000 from Derby
As you say needs a big change to attract fans back

Woohoo guys lets celebrate flucking another winning changing nothing, vindicating the current owners, and staying in lower-table mediocrity whilst helping Cardiff stay up Woohoo 🥳

I think Sheehan can do well with a League one or two team. That's not a knock. But to plan and build the whole team around him and give it full-time will be wrong. I get the impression from club statement in the week, plans are still to get someone new. I fear we wil end up come Xmas with bad results under Sheehan. Sounds like new ownership is ambitious with new manager by all accounts. But who knows. I think we need new minded set, fresh start and move a few players on.

Agree. If they had more quality, they could of easily scored 1 goal or maybe 2. We can't set up to ride our luck against teams. We need get rid of Fulton and Co. Tymon is a player who shows potential but fumbles last minute. Need more quality all over.

You’re not wrong, but if we’re in League One next season it wouldn’t matter anyways. At this point safety has to be the number one priority and we’re nearly there.

Once that’s done, I’m all for everything you’ve outlined.

2000 of them were Derby and 500 were the tickets ‘bought’ by the owners.
