All strikers do that, that does not make him rubbish. He scored so.e decent goals, Leeds away for example.

The more clinical a striker is the high up the pyramid he will be playing, what do you expect someone to achieve with the lack of opportunities that Swansea created last season?

Yousef Salach scored as many goals as Vipotnik last season in under half the games Vipotnik played in. Do you seriously think Cardiff created many more chances for him then?. In my opinion Vipotnik is slow, sluggish and doesn't anticipate things quickly enough. Out of most of our strikers over the last few seasons , Piroe, Mcburnie, Obafemi Cullen and Vipotnik, he's been the least productive of them all and i wouldn't pick him over any of the others. As a fan i hope he proves me wrong, but i have serious doubts about him.

Swedish journo saying we’ve bid twice, first bid around 3 million rejected we’ve gone in at 3.5 million now.

Completely agree. He sprints as if he's wading through treacle but we've seen he's got a brilliant shot on him. The main problem he's had here (as you said) is we don't get the ball to him quick/often enough.
My fear would be spending a few million more on this other guy, only for him to come up against the same problem.

No goals scored from open play in pre-season hardly screams that we're much changed tactically from last season. The game at the weekend was against superior opposition but it was the same again, unable to get the ball forward convincingly and create any meaningful chances
Vipotnik and Wales scored from open play against Stevenage? And my memory is a bit hazy about the other goal but I’m sure it wasn’t a penalty?

I wasn't counting that as it was two 60 minute games.

Wales looked extremely raw when he came on on the weekend. Maybe it was nerves on his home debut but he didn't inspire much confidence in his brief cameo

Talk about jumping the gun. Give the guy a decent chance.
