I was talking about North Wales in general and that they speak a more correct form of Welsh there. I lived in North Wales for years. Worked in Mold and Buckley. You have missed the point entirely, and are talking utter shyt, as usual.
Not many people in and around Wrexham speak Welsh - that’s correct.

Why the need for insults? I didn’t insult you.

Its rididulous how these threads get blown off course over nitpickings and semantics. My whole point has been Wrexham are just as Welsh as we are. They also sang Hymns and Arias since the 70s. While they may not be a bigger club than us yet, they could well be soon, and they will probably get to the Premier League. They are probably in a similar spot we were in when Roberto got us up, but with with far brighter commercial prospects. Im going to leave it there. Its exhausting trying make any kind of observations on this forum.
Well ironically you turned a thread about a football club into some sort of language exercise.
As for Wrexham the only thing they have on us is that they’re the older club. They never made the first division or PL and they’ve never won major silverware . They’ve played in Europe but only via the Welsh Cup. We’ve had a top 6 finish, won the league cup and had a moderately successful Europa league campaign.
They may well get to the PL but until they eclipse what we have achieved they aren’t the bigger club . If they get to the play off final would they take 40k fans?

Relatively few. Wrexham as a county borough has a couple of Welsh medium schools (which I have done some outreach events at). Generally the coastal strip (until past Llandudno), Deeside and Wrexham are strongly anglophone. Inland and west of Llandudno are strongly Welsh speaking.

Never rated Broadhead much, Ipswich must not believe their luck getting 10M, although I remember most of us being chuffed we got 10M off Burnley for Jack Cork, and regretted it as he left a massive gap in midfield when we signed some terrible players.

If having silly amounts of money means paying £10m for average players then Wrexham are welcome to it. And that's not the green eyed monster on my part, I am genuinely glad that we are not involved in that kind of insanity.
That's right and we also had to pay silly money for more average players because clubs knew we had parachute money as clubs know Wrecsam have disney dollars. Not sure how long the interest from afar will linger - Rob and Ryan look committed but will they really keep on pumping a lot of their own cash in if the outside investment dries up? I don't think so.

Where did you get £65m from £25m was reported and their wage bill must be monstrous this is a big gamble by them
Im no financial expert but the club's will be spending big and yes to some extent wanting to spread contacts to minimise breaking rules etc. But it's massive risk and reward. Spend big and reach Premier league then it's worth it. But fail to do so and you could end up like what happened to other teams who get punished. For all the moaning on what we do and do not spend at least even if its playing it safe, we as a club can say we are not rolling the dice. I really do hope it back fires on Wrexham.

With all the money they have spent, I think WTW will be great entertainment next season, especially if things start going Pete Tong for them. Some crazy money around, I just started watching that Tom Brady blues documentary, and I can’t believe how much they bought Stansfield for, league one at the time 15 million rising to 20 million in add ons. I doubt these big spenders can sustain this, if results are not favourable.

It's great for the fans to see big players being signed but ultimately it will backfire for every season they stay in the championship. Wrexham will be hedging their bets on at least a play off and here is hoping it backfires. I haven't watched the Birmingham documentary, other than clips about Rooney. That will be an interesting one to see how that plays out as well with them
