• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I hope they continue to have the cameras on the opposite side for the match. They did for the under 21s yesterday. The only problem is Sky Plus are showing it so they might want to use the normal West Stand Gantry. Which is annoying because it looks like the ground is empty. Anyway when Wales played Switzerland in a match in 2011. Swiss TV had their cameras on the East side, whilst Welsh TV had them in the usual side. The Swiss were surrounded by Welsh fans. They also had Swiss advertisements on their own electronic advertising boards.

We’ll be in the normal gantry unfortunately. I’m on camera 1 tonight. Just a 2 camera set up.

Currently, it looks like they will need to open the North West and South West corners tomorrow. Only singles left tonight. Shame they hadn’t set more blocks up to be open tonight so people could purchase seats together.

I managed to get the last 2 tickets together for me and my son last night at 10.38pm in block WU13, they need to open another block at least....

I've always had mixed feelings about putting out a strong team to have a cup run and maybe a money making tie.

The other part of me says give the squad players game time.

Looking at the prize money per round, is it costing us more to put games on than we receive?

So maybe giving game time is better in this competition.

RoundMoney
Second Round winners£7,00
Third Round winners£10,000
Fourth Round winners£15,000
Quarter-Final winners£25,000
Semi-Final winners£25,000
Winner£100,000

I was planning on getting tickets for my kids for tonight.

They can’t come unless they release more tickets

How many more stewards would they need to open up another part of the ground, compared to losing out on ticket sales, and gaining interest from the next generation of fans?

Thanks for the information. I had a feeling you would need to be in the West with all the facilities for this. Shame because the coverage would look cool with a full West Stand being shown for a change.

I think they will open up more areas as we go through the day, it was just annoying that last night people would have logged on to buy tickets and only the singles were available and now today there are rows of tickets available in the West stand. Poor ticket management.

They are back to single tickets again online. It’s bloody ridiculous and they will lose out on more fans coming tonight. I get the one stand at a time policy. But once that is full open up more areas, it’s not rocket science.

Problem they've got now is people had time to sort tickets out yesterday but they weren't available. A lot of people back to work today and won't know extra areas released so won't bother looking or they get home too late to make it.
