• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Today has been the nice version of autumn. Spent the afternoon pottering around in the garden, did the lawns, raked leaves up and even managed the closing ceremony for the BBQ by grilling a few sausages that were in the fridge. On a positive note it looks like we have another week of this weather. After that comes the inevitable damp and utterly miserable greyness of British autumn.
Last cut?

Last cut?
Probably not as it’s still growing. The weather looks dry up to next weekend, after which I’m generally not around for two weeks. So a Friday afternoon cut might be on the cards.

I cut mine on Monday. Given the forecast it’s probably getting another trim at some point next week. There’s a few cuts left yet I reckon.

Coops, bought a couple of bottles of red in ALDI Taibach Thursday Patagonia Malbec its ok, but the better one in my opinion is the Buenas Vides Organic Malbec and its a pound or so cheaper.

In return, if you’re near a Lidl then a bottle of Mucho Mas for £7.29 makes for a very good drink.

I’m up in London at the moment with the kids who’re going to the Broncos v Jets game tomorrow while er indoors and I will have a few drinks somewhere in the centre. It’s been lovely up here today, one of my kids has been in a t shirt and shorts all day.

Lawn had a trim on Tuesday evening and will likely have another one this week as it’s shooting up.

I’ve never liked autumn, but more recently I’ve warmed to it. Had a couple of really nice walks in the countryside and it’s been lovely seeing the leaves changing colours, the nuts and acorns on the ground and the animals feasting before winter.

I despise the winter, as has been said the Covid going back, the constant rain and darkness - it’s depressing. I can’t understand why people without kids take their holidays in the summer, spend the summer at home and FO abroad in the winter!

I did look at my phone when I was there cause I kept a note of peoples thoughts on wine and what their choices were and from where, but I hadn't had anything saved on wines from Aldi, my eldest had a Chiropractor's appointment nearby there so I took the opportunity to pop in for a looksee mainly for the protein meals they sell, but a visit to the wine shelves was worth a look.

I did mine last week and think I'll leave it now.😊😊😊
The Mrs does our's although its not a big task these days due to my pond and filter house taking up a good deal of the garden and my yard is all slabbed. up to my pond window.

Right’o, so you can add this Lidl option to your list. I will be out later today so will call in Aldi.
