• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Vig, tymon, cabango, urgess, Franco, Galbraith, vip, iniussa are all top champ quality. Galbraith and vig premier league without a shadow of a doubt. Let's not even start to argue otherwise.
I wouldn’t say all are top championship but Vigs is up there and Tymon was the best attacking fullback in the league last season. We know Galbraith has quality. Should still be doing much better, I’m not sure why some think we should be in 17th.

1st goal was a worldie or fluke whatever you want to call it 2nd goal was an individual error whilst chasing the equaliser, the delay in transition from midfield shows we don’t have a general who takes the game by the scruff of the neck and drives forward.

I don’t think this is a coaching issue, its a bit of quality and a bit of confidence

If we had 5 players who were ‘top championship quality’ and 2 who were ‘premier league’, we wouldn’t be 17th having won one of our last 6 games whoever was the manager.

People need to get a grip.
It's called coaching lisa. Pointless arguing with you because you have a habit of going against the grain on every post

Another beautifully constructed counter-argument, like Eteb earlier. The quality of discourse on here tonight is taking my breath away I must say.
You’re talking crap so I’ll treat your post with the contempt it deserves…how’s that for you.

Galbraith Vig and

We’ve played it against 3 really good teams. I think we’ve played better football with it despite the results
I thought we were terrible against Charlton and scored with our only half chance in the whole match, to call it better football is beyond generous

Im also not buying the narrative that we have an excellent squad of players just waiting to be managed properly to unparalleled success. I’ve seen no evidence that this is anything other than an average group of lower mid table championship players. With a manager to match.

Not read all the comments as I’m sure some will be in full meltdown.

I think we are getting better
One worldie goal start of first half
One good striker play and key at fault start of second.

We were the much better side, creating a lot more than normal, although making lots of wrong options in the final third.
Think we had about 19 shots to their 4 (haven’t looked though)

Galbraith was far and above better than anything on the pitch
Idah looks like a handful
Samuel’s smith is definitely a good player

My main issues are Cabango playing long balls to nobody and burgess playing ridiculous short balls to their players.
And of course Benson who did nothing.

Didn't Gorringe say we saved money on the window cleaners? In his interview? Maybe use that money to get Sheehan Out.

When you create as few good chances as we do you can't average a goal conceded a game.

We aren't sound defensively and we are one of the worst attacking teams in the league - which doesn't show any sign of changing.

I just don't see how we are getting better. We look like we are getting worse. Agree on a few points of yours. But overall, this team is being wasted.

This signing is really frustrating me now. We can give Inoussa time because he is our long term player but we have wasted time and money on Benson for no return. Less so because he has played a little more but it is similar with Yalcouye, who was not even seen as an option tonight to chase the game.

Mate, we don’t have a single player that would get 20 minutes in the PL. Galbraith is promising but way overhyped. Vig would be there by now, maybe a benchwarmer.

Galbraith is a tidy, technically very good player but he is not standing out at the moment.

He is very promising and may develop, but people are talking about him as though he’s Leon or Joe Allen in their prime. At the moment he’s more reminiscent of Tom Carroll or that other small midfield bloke we had on loan from Chelsea whose name completely escapes me.

This squad is 17th quality? Really? Fuck all created again and one goal again - you cannot say our players are that bad
I have to agree. Sorry North Hill. You talk alot of sense on this forum, but you keep saying this squad is not good. I disagree. We have good players, you can see that. The coaching is terrible under Sheehan.
