All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thank you though for all the memories

Club must of had to make a call today for someone to step in to take the team on Saturday now with Hellberg not coming in. It's gonna be an interesting Saturday.

Can anyone tell me how I can determine if this game is the Main one on Sky Sports+ on Saturday? Mrs L is working till 1.30 so I would like to record it and watch "as live" when she gets home. I can see that it's showing on the Sky Go schedule and has the "R" logo on it. I know that only the Main game is recordable and you can't record the "red button" options

Yes this is the problem, I don't know how to confirm one way or the other. The Sky Go app does allow me to activate a recording for the Swans game

Yes I realise that, the issue is if Swans were the Main game (Sky call it the linear broadcast) on SS+ you can record it. If, however Swans were the Red Button option (i.e. not the linear broadcast) you can't record it.
At the moment the Sky Go TV schedule allows me to record Swans on Saturday so I can infer from that that we are the linear broadcast.

You’re both correct.
It’s on channel 404 on the Sky subscription on Sky Q so you’ll definitely be able to record it this Saturday as you said above

Yes you are correct, channel 404 is SS+. But, there is a main (linear) broadcast on that channel and once you fire up that channel on your Q box, you are offered via the red button, other games as options. You cannot record those games, and it's not completely clear which game, being offered on this channel 404 is the main game and which are the "red button" games.
I use the Football on TV website to see which games are on where, but even that will only telle that a game is on SS+, it doesn't say.of the game is the main one or a red button option
