I think we will get an announcement soon after the match about Matos and then hopefully O Dea leaves with some others we need a reset. I'll live and die on my sword. This squad is better than what we are seeing. Since O Dea and Co have come in we have been terrible.

Confirmed Matos is bringing 3 in with him but not his goalkeeping coach he hired at Maritimo.

I’m still surprised at how quickly we’ve unraveled. We were fine a few weeks ago, solid at the back but just struggling a bit up top and so on the wrong end of some fine margins. But the team was together. People were bouncing after the effort against Man City. Then we stuck with 3 at the back for a couple of games, threw away the good bits while not fixing attack and now it’s all fallen apart and the players look shot.

All debate about it. But the coaching and O Dea for me as shown how he has coached this team to be bad. The quality of VP and few others have hidden what was there.

I was sitting there cursing at our shape and formation just as the we were pressing towards their goal. A few seconds later they steal and break, look at this absolutely honking set up - we’ve got Santos as last man and in completely the wrong position, Inoussa is second last man, and we’ve got Burgess down in the bottom left, with only him knowing WTF he is doing out there. Utter, utter rubbish.

This resembles the sort of stuff that was going on at the tail end of Williams.

O'Dea and Stearman need to get to f*ck, and when they get there, f*ck off a little bit more just for good measure.

In fairness Burgess was asked to play as a full back after we took off our actual full back… to bring on a centre half

VIP’s certainly papered over our atrocious attack. His goals have dried up and we look lost (hard to score when you’re on the bench mind - Sheehan and O’Dea are clowns)
