The irony of disliking the Americanisation of our words when using an Americanisation of one of our words. I guess that passed you by.Ok thanks for your attention, for your information it was corrected by auto correct, but no matter give yourself a gold star.
Re-read my reply and take it in.The irony of disliking the Americanisation of our words when using an Americanisation of one of our words. I guess that passed you by.![]()
I did indeed haha but it’s everywhere. Race across the world is an obv exampleSomeone watched The Wheel last night.
I’ve never seen Race Across the World but I thought the fella on The Wheel last night telling everyone he has a stoma was superb. Call it virtue signalling if you want but when you have one of those that kind of public acknowledgement can go a long way for some people.I did indeed haha but it’s everywhere. I completely understand that.I’ve never seen Race Across the World but I thought the fella on The Wheel last night telling everyone he has a stoma was superb. Call it virtue signalling if you want but when you have one of those that kind of public acknowledgement can go a long way for some people.
Then they ask you if you want a receipt! My pet hate at the moment, is the supermarkets absolutely screwing us in Wales.
Take for example Madri, 10 cans are 12 quid, but in England, it’s 2 for 20.
The absolute rotters are screwing the Welsh right up the jacksy, it’s 2 units per can, = a quid a can. Oh no, these ball bags at the supermarkets artificially increase their price on a pack of ten, to screw us even more.
Oh god, dont get me started on that, took the boy to B&M the other day, he spent over a 100 quid, stuff like shelves, and other stuff, then the cashier says’ do you want a receipt’? I was fucking tamping in the car on the way home, I’m saying to my son, yeah if bits are missing for 50 quid, you can take it on the chin, chuck it in the bin, and go back and spend another 50. Fuck it grips my shit, do yo want a receipt? Of course I do you bloody lemon. Then they ask you if you want a receipt!

And speaking from personal experience, no receipt in B & M and they won't take anything back. These companies shouldn't ask, it should be compulsory in all shops that when you purchase anything a receipt is issued as proof of purchase.Oh god, dont get me started on that, took the boy to B&M the other day, he spent over a 100 quid, stuff like shelves, and other stuff, then the cashier says’ do you want a receipt’? Just as well you could buy half the stock in B&M for a tenner and still have enough change for a pint of Carling in the Marquis Arms...And speaking from personal experience, no receipt in B & M and they won't take anything back. Absolutely! The people on the till are like robots 'do you want a receipt' if you don't take one, you have just given up your consumer rights, if something is wrong, you will have a battle to get your money back. And speaking from personal experience, no receipt in B & M and they won't take anything back.
