S25/26 | The MATCHDAY Thread | Swansea City v Wrexham AFC | 8pm | Sky Sports Football | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

I think most will be happy with that team, the only one really that will have people unhappy is Ronald starting instead of Eom. Great to see that Matos is consistent though with rewarding positive contributions from the bench with Widell starting in his preferred attacking midfield position.

Key on the bench is no real surprise, people wanted Parker to replace him on the bench altogether but I couldn't see that happening personally. Ronald needs to pull out a performance as people will (quite rightly) be pointing out his lack of end product for the past two months

Not overly suprised by Eom being dropped looks like a a cough or a sneeze good blow him over last week. Needs to work on his strength. Not like Ronald will be any different but imagine we are looking for quick pace with Ronald and Inoussa. Plus Ronald helps with defense. Eom is hit and miss. Bring Eom on later in the game. Not sure if this is Yalcouye game as he might also be light weight against O Brian if he comes on. Maybe Fulton depending if we are winning? Overall its the side I would pick. Don't let us down lads.

Come on now, no more negativity tonight lad

I’d say that there is a tangible frisson in the air about this match that has been simmering nicely over the last few days.

I won’t be able to attend due to it being a sellout, but it wasn’t through want of trying.

The relatively recent history of Parkinson’s then team, Bradford, losing to Swansea City in the EFL Cup final, will turn up the heat a bit I’m sure. He’ll probably feel that he has some unfinished business to tend to, and what better way to do so than to see his current team win against us tonight.

There may be no actual hostility between the two clubs (at least nothing that I can see on the face of it), but this match has its merits as a major box office clash for sure.

As for Wrexham, or “Disney FC” as their detractors like to call them, I really hope that they can make some lasting history for themselves by reaching the Premier League this season. I for one feel that they have actually earned it and so royally deserve a shot at the big time.

It’ll be tight but I’ll obviously be backing the men in white.

2-1 will do me.🤞
If you still want to attend I have a ticket for you. No charge. I DMd you, just shoot me you email address and I'll send you the PDF.
