We were’t poor - just need to be a bit more composed in and around the penalty area. We’re making the chances now.
We were. We were bloody awful. Once again our wingers couldn't cross. Franco couldn't do simple 10 yard passes for the vast majority of the match.

The reason we won is we just worked harder than them and won more 50/50s.

I was shocked at how bad they actually were. I mean I knew they were one dimensional before the game, but to actually witness how shite they are, despite the tens of millions lavished on that side, it was quite something to behold.

We 100% deserved to win but let's not kid ourselves it was some sort of wonderful achievement. Pound for pound they're the worst side I've seen down here this season.

In my other post i mentioned Moore’s hand into someone’s face as one that he missed, but half of the issue is that our players make an absolute meal of it at times. Burgess also jumps with his arms out on occasion and catches someone. He is also strong into the back of the forward when they are both jumping. It’s part of the game to be honest.
we're a bit soft and have been for a while
THEy jump with elbows, we get elbowed
We need to be more honey badger

Well I enjoyed that, fair play to the club they put a bit of a show on before ko, probably won’t go down well with some on here especially the Joke From The Smoke but hey ho there you go….uppa Swans👍

Honestly, I thought I could moan…did you go mush??

He was only shocking if you fall for the nonsense from Ronald and Franco in particular.

I thought the two he did get wrong were the tackle on Stamenic in the second half where he should have stopped play and the hand in the face from Moore in the second half where he missed it.

But every ref is going to get bits wrong. The major stuff I thought he was ok.
Stamp on Ronald's head?

Thoroughly enjoyed that tonight.

Bit low in quality at times and we butchered some very good opportunities to create more clear cut chances but overall I thought we deserved the win - despite the strange nature of all 3 goals.

Definitely something to build on for the second half of the season. As many have said, there’s very little to choose between 20+ of the teams this season.

Be nice to see the current positivity rub off in terms of attendances, like tonight, throughout 2026.
Definitely deserved to win the game, just kept going and going second half and had that bit of luck at the end. Any other result would have been an injustice. Well done Swans.

Honestly tonight it doesn’t matter if we were awful or not. Tonight we were the team that went out to play football, we were the team that wanted it more and we were the team that deserved the win. It was a bloody fantastic night under the lights and that’s all that matters.

Agree, and that's what my first post about 20 mins ago basically said.

I honestly didn’t think it was that bad. It wasn’t the most composed performance. But that’s was due to Wrexham harrying us all over the pitch. I thought we did ok. Agree about some of the silly mistakes though.
They pressed us very well. That was just about their entire focus. We never really got to grips with it. When we did play through them we looked promising. I love the shoot first ask questions later approach. There were a couple that looked on their way until they smacked the defender, and of course Vipotnik goal. Shoot and you might get lucky.
