It was a stinking game, and some of our players are going to put me up the Coed.
Great atmosphere though and over the moon that our new manager wants us to get that ball forward.
Wouldn't go as far as stinking, not amazing, but not that bad. I see improvements and a clear idea and structure in the last two games, which is more that can be said for the previous 20. Our open play chance creation is improving as well which is something we just had to get better st to have a chance at survival.

But Franco, Burgess and Ronald are absolutely killing us they are playing at Josh Key level and its hard to build any sustained pressure when they are constantly giving the ball away.

Subs were questionable again, and it's becoming a huge concern.

Another great night and another great match daythread for dweebs who can’t tolerate others with alternative opinions. Great win and significantly this will be the start of the end of Wrexscum love affair. Their moment in the sun is over, bye bye. 👋

In the context of our development , not a great night. In the context of our survival, and extremely good night. Anyone talking about luck needs to look at the half time stat graphic again. Zeros. As someone said its about time we had some fortune. Nice to see a little celebration from Idah when he scored. His attitude had seemed laconic.(not sure if thats the right word) I want to see excitement when our centre forward scores a goal.

Swapping my flop flips for Docs and my Brahma for a Guinness in the Railway, managed to get a ticket for tomorrow so it’s a private jet tonight from Rio de Janeiro Galeao Antonio Carlos Jobim International ( longer than that llangwynfiaberpergycjyfi station in Gog land ) then my mate Lando Norris Evans is picking me up from Heathrow in his XR2 and it’s straight to Wind Street.

Got to go the pilot reckons I’m interfering with the navigation system….see you tomorrow peeps….and Snuff if you’re looking for a scrap let me knows mush👍
Hi Loyola, still spouting your same teenage bullshit I see.

We've just been talking about the same.
Ok some of our players do look for a foul and go down easily but even though I want a bit for physicality in games, there is so much missed or not understood by the officials.
The leaving something on a player after the ball has gone is getting more and more into the games
I’ve said this before but refs seem to favour “strong arm” teams and won’t give the kinds of free kick that Ronald and Franco keep embarrassingly looking for. Franco doing this cost us 3 points against WBA and Ronald turns the ball over to the opposition every time he does it. Both need a spell out of the side and people should stop singing that Franco song. He’s gone all shit and entitled since that started.

Still bad subs I think - Widdell was fantastic and Inoussa had the beating of his man at LB causing far more problems than Ronald who gets a fee pass. A word for Fulton too when he came on - solid and steady

They pressed us very well. That was just about their entire focus. We never really got to grips with it. When we did play through them we looked promising. I love the shoot first ask questions later approach. There were a couple that looked on their way until they smacked the defender, and of course Vipotnik goal. Shoot and you might get lucky.
The only downside with this - and it’s a refreshing change to the last few years, where we were so reluctant to take a shot - is that we butchered 2 or 3 opportunities to create a 1 on 1 with the keeper by following this head down and shoot fron anywhere within 25 yards policy.

I’m all for shooting more often than we have been, but it’s decision making (and execution) in the final 3rd that’s our biggest weakness IMO.

I would be intrigued to see what the Wrexham forums thought of their team's performance but I am too lazy to find their forum to look for their match thread
