• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

In the context of our development , not a great night. In the context of our survival, and extremely good night. Anyone talking about luck needs to look at the half time stat graphic again. Zeros. As someone said its about time we had some fortune. Nice to see a little celebration from Idah when he scored. His attitude had seemed laconic.(not sure if thats the right word) I want to see excitement when our centre forward scores a goal.
Matos is an improvement over Sheehan, but a world class coach is not going to get much change from this current crop of players. I tutted so many times last night just over the basics going wrong/decision making by the players. We have a squad that will survive, but not much more. Matos needs to look for alternatives for all our wingers, Franco/Widdell and a new right back.

Despite the stats looking good, I didn't really think we troubled Wrexham at all and all three goals tonight were from luck. It was a classic 0-0 game on a another night .

Laconic isn't the word I would use regarding Idah, but I get your point. For me there is a lack of oomph / passion / drive and it comes across in his body language (if I was playing alongside him it would have my blood boiling).

I couldn’t believe the lack of a reaction on Idah’s face, considering what a moment it was for us fans, scoring at the death of an important “Welsh derby” live on SKY.
Same reaction (fek all) when interviewed after the game on Swans Tv.
But, as my dear old mum would say…”We’re all different”
