Stating the obvious. Will be difficult one. Let's hope we put performance in. And get a draw at least

Well according to the rumour mill Ben was well pissed off at Grimes for his big spiel on loyalty to the club convincing him to stay when he suddenly upped sticks and went to Coventry

Strange watching Manning, Wood, Grimes, Lati, Bidwell, Rushworth and the like in promotion chasing teams

Hmm not really, I always thought that Manning, Bidwell and Rushworth were decent players, Wood too, and was disappointed when they were sold or not retained. Grimes is decent enough if he has support around him. Lati tho…

Got half an eye on the Saints v Cov game and seen another example of a more recent development in time-wasting.

The 10 men of Coventry are under constant pressure, but hanging on, then down goes Rushworth with an 'injury'. Not only is this clear gamesmanship to get around having 9 men temporarily if an outfield player fakes injury, but the Coventry physios were still sat in the dugout despite their keeper being on the floor for a while before the referee stopped the game. If they genuinely thought he was injured, they'd have been out on the side of the pitch ready to race on.

The only thing less surprising than clubs/players finding new ways to cheat is how slow the authorities are on picking it up/dealing with it.

Grimes feigning an injury on the half way line to run the clock down.. very convincing fair play

Offensively Cov look really threat with pace and over lapping

But at the back they look vulnerable especially now with their first choice back four unavailable. Bidwell and Lati both not regulars for Cov so get Inoussa on Bidwell from the start.
