• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Will be another test for us and we need to start to step up and come away from these away games with points.
They will target us and rightly so, it's going to be another tough one and need to start coming away from these tests with something rather than "we played well and are going in the right direction".

Agreed. I fully respect Matos needs time and it's not like I'll start asking for his head if we lose, that would be crazy, but these types of games now need to be a must win. Idah is out with a Hamstring so it's on Vip and Wales to step up.

This is just regurgitation, for the perceived "positive police" to have an excuse like they've done since this site has existed.. they'll condemn everyone for some personal kick they get out of it.. c*cks and sandal wearers.. it's like the next year, next year we'll rebuild and rebuild and rebuild until 25 years have gone and everyone is retired and you'll still get it's a rebuild year!.. nobody likes the truth

One of my worst away memories was at Oxford in the cuptie when Shelvey downed tools and we were "giant killed".

I was there when we lost 3-0.. Alsop scored, somehow we lost it from the 80th minute onwards.. I gave howenjack who posted on the other board a lift with his Thai bird, because he missed the bus

Just popped a video link in to my post
This is one I remember at the Manor Ground. With the ‘limbs’ in the away end and Super John climbing the fence. Also sadly remembered with the late Joey Beauchamp scoring for Oxford. He was a very good footballer and I enjoyed watching him play on loan for us. RIP Joey.
