S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Millwall 2 Swansea 1 | Att: 14,242 | 04/01/26 | The EFL Championship | The Den

Hopefully we put mostly a second string side out against West Brom in the cup. These players could do with the rest. I think we’ve got enough in us to avoid relegation, I just hope we start scoring a few more goals.
I understand everyone's thought process with FA Cup and League is the most important thing. But I would try add build upon our home form as we have 3 games at home. Fisher will start, imagine Casey, Wales or Cullen.

The fawanews stream was feckin horrible today, cutting out every 10-20 seconds. It cut out at 1-1 as Wales came on as sub, after buffering and buffering it comes back on and we're 2-1 down with 30 seconds to go.

AAAARGHH! I FECKIN HATE THAT!!!! 😱

Yeah, I gave up on the game in the first half, the stream was unwatchable 🤬

Even Widell looked wiped out. Seen as an excuse? I think it was clear, 4 games in 8 days. 3 being away. It's a lot to ask a team that is all about pressing to perform that.
Agree with this (although some will say it’s an excuse)

Two weeks off without a game for anyone he wants to rest and plenty of time on the training ground to work on things with no away game until 24th January,

Far more positives than negatives over the last few weeks and look forward to seeing a few fringe players next Sunday.

Watched on the stream as well

Overall with the number of saves Vig made can't have many complaints.
Terrible in the first half but battled back in the second so sickened to lose like that.
I'm sure Millwall fans will take this as sour grapes but I wouldn't want to watch their basically route one tactics every week.

When you consider the points we’ve picked up recently, it’s insane that we’re only 17th. A lot of damage done in the first quarter or so of the season and we’re paying for it still. The championship top 6 looks weak to me this season (or at least there are no real heavyweights), it’s bitterly disappointing that we aren’t involved anywhere near the top end. I know we struggled today but I doubt that first half happens if we go with our full strength XI.

If you take away the goals we've conceded in injury time in both halves we'd be in the top 6 now. Absolutely gutted
Does that also take away the points we got from our own injury time winner against Wrexham?

I think it would be cruel for anyone to be too critical of any individual player today. When a team thrives on set plays and the ridiculous amount they had, with our energy gone. We move on. I'm I gutted. Sure. I always am when we lose. But have a break, and we go again.
