• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

If this happens and the Irons recall Casey, we could be a bit short of CDs if Ben or Burgess gets injured. 🤔

Get rid, but we definitely need to sign another centre back now if Casey goes back

Not the best work, we got away with one.

If he was on 7.5k a week we pretty much broke even.
I'd just call that insurance tbh. People forget that Cabango was the only other CB on the payroll at the time Santos signed. In theory we had cover for the worst case scenario and it ended up costing us nothing.

He was always going to be cover, decent signing at the time on a free with a load of experience, very unfortunate he picked up that knock when he did.

If he signs for Reading, good luck to the lad.

Some people are really negative about a player who was signed for cover/in case other deals fell through and who barely saw the pitch for us, which is exactly what we would have wanted when we signed him. If we can get a fee for him and break even against signing on fee/wages, that's a complete win for the club.
