• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

With the news today of Marc Guehi to
Man City .
Connor Gallagher to Spurs
Tammy Abraham wanted by Aston Villa ,
Morgan Gibbs White likely to have his pick of Clubs if he moves.
Swansea City having these on loan have helped them to progress their careers.

Man City got a bargain for 20 M. Many will argue we have had fair share of dud loans which is true, but also we have helped a lot to step up to the next level. Though not a loan, Galbraith will be the next player to go for massive fee. Downes stepped up, McBurnie, Piroe etc.

Rhian Brewster did a good job for us and commanded a large fee when he moved from Liverpool to Sheffield United but a number of injuries ruled him out for long periods

And even with those players and Ayew to boot, Cooper still couldn't get us promoted.

I think if we played anyone else aspart from the brentford juggernaut he would got us out of this division!

Mind you Brewster wasn't helped by a manager who shunted him out onto the left wing rather than up top where we played him

Can someone with a better memory than me put together a best starting 11 out of the loans we've had over the last 10 years?
