This match day thread is a like an episode of the Real Housewives of Swansea with some of you.

Haven’t seen some much hysteria since Waitrose increased the price of their tofu.

I think that was more progress. Too lackadaisical at times, but pretty good work overall.

Can we play Ugly Ismail every week.

Oliver Cooper did well.

First own goal scored by Swansea this season
First goal scored direct from a corner this season
First time we have ever beaten Blackburn 3 times in a row
First time we have scored 3 goals in a league game this season

Plenty of firsts
Performance was mostly good minus that ten minute spell in the first half where we couldn't trap a bag of cement
Blackburn were by far the worst team to come to the swansea.com all season

A welcome three points but the scrappiest game this season. I think the conditions and the bumpy pitch had something to do with our passing, which was largely dreadful.
Also alarming to see the passback mentality emerging when we go one up.
Eom and Vip were the stand out players for me. Ronnie worked his socks off in attack and defence, I wish he'd cultivate a killer instinct though. He's always looking to play people in when most forwards would have a go themselves. No wonder his goal return is the square root of feck all.
Cooper was always bursting forward energetically, then losing the ball with a bad pass. Shape up, lad, and you could be an asset.
It's a bit of a cliche, but I think Blackburn pulled us down to their level. I would expect better performances in our next two games against higher class opponents.

Important win for us.. not sure if Blackburn were out on their feet but I thought Cooper and Cullen looked more of a threat that Widdel and Eom defensively and offensively.

Yalcouye looked a bit lost when he came on and Fulton steadied the ship well

We really lack that CM who can control a game creatively and physically but we have lot of lightweight terriers pressing.
