This is the real acid test in my eyes

If we go away to Derby who like us are in really strong form and come away with something then we will be serious contenders for a place in the playoff race.

We have the top scorer in the division, probably the best keeper in the league and so long as we can keep our center halves from picking up daft yellows and getting suspended we have strength in depth in every other position in the squad.

Win the next 2 games at least and we will be hunting the playoffs. The playwrs need to now see this as perfect opportunity. More than anything. Getting another win on the road will do a lot for our form. Personally no fear on my end. I think when we play better teams we do better and don't take foot off.

Saturdays game is going to be the make or break and the confidence maker or breaker also.

I think confidence is not an issue. Before Watford belief was the issue but winning there should tell the players they have it in them to cross the line and take 3 points. Vipotnik on free kick duty is imperative - how nobody has seen this potential weapon is bemusing but he’s such a modest guy he probably thought that team mates would think he was showing off. He’s the most deadly striker in this league by a distance now so keep feeding him with opportunities I say.

Will be tough, even if Derby are seemingly better away.

Gotta back us though. Going 0-1. Not sure who will score it but feel like it’ll be a 90th minute winner for us.

Derby are rubbish at home they would be in the bottom 6 on home form .
Play like we have in the last 2 away games we could pick up a point or 3 ,
Odds on Rhian Brewster scores .

It was a brilliant free kick, but I'm not so sure Vipi will be on all free kicks around the opposition box going forward.

The placement of it meant he could just hit it as hard as he could, which was pretty damn hard. If other free kicks are in positions where he needs to curl it past a wall and he doesn't practice that in training, I doubt he'll be handed the ball. Perhaps he will start practicing them and it will turn out he's brilliant, which would be nice. Either way, I'm sure he'll be taking it if we get another free kick in a similar position where he can just blast it, I sure wouldn't want to be in a wall facing that!

Agreed, if a free kick is 20 yards or less absolutely I agree that VP should be in with a shout at taking it. Beyond that it doesn't matter how hard he leathers it the keeper will have time to react, at that point it will call for something with a bit more subtlety like Walta (when he gets up to speed) who by all accounts is a set piece expert.

You couldn’t pay me enough to be in the wall. Imagine being hit in the meat and two veg by that.
