S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Ipswich Town 3 Swansea City 0 | Att: 27,594 | 28/02/26 | The EFL Championship | Portman Road

Noticed Cullen having a go at Nunes a few times with his pressing. Not sure if it's worked with Cullen. Get Galbraith into midfield, Ward on.
Cullen spent most of the game pointing and closing down at a jogging pace, never offers for a one touch layoff like Vipotnik does
I noticed that. He was having a pop at Nunes. Just doesn't work with Cullen. VP on please.

Galbraith experiment has to stop. I understand Key was bad, and I was calling for alternatives, but we are constantly caught out every match. The players for a few games now look tired and lacking intent. Not sure what's going on.
Same players as the previous manager had mainly and can only coach so much with them. Remember Sheehan produced an upturn and then regressed. I'm pleased with Matos but let's take a longer term view on most managers. I agree about Galbraith at right back though-wasted and wanders out of position too often

Dreadful to watch and the only thing that makes it worse is the dreadful commentary provided by Swans TV

Oh wait we have Jacks at home coming up - stale shit. Not every game can be a circus...
And I thought they said that they were doing dual comms again

Ipswich are obviously a much better team but it is baffling to see our best midfielder constantly being played at RB, especially as we saw the difference he made when he moved into midfield for the second half on Tuesday.

There are two RBs on the bench, play one of them and put Galbraith back in the middle where he can control the game

Understandable when Key was having a crisis of form and confidence and Ward needed a few weeks to get his fitness back up.

Shouldn’t be the case any more though

It’s not an experiment, he’s played there more than any other position in his career. Absolutely nothing to do with him despite people pretending otherwise.

Exactly, seems he's just become the default RB now

I haven’t seen any of it, but if it’s the same pattern as the last few performances then I think it’s down to tiredness. We play a pretty high intensity game as someone showed earlier in this thread through McKenna’s comments about us. It’s taking a toll. Also means we’re all or nothing, we’ve only draw one or two in nearly twenty games since Matos came in and today looks like a nothing rather than an all. Factor in that there’s no Vip on the pitch and the weaknesses we know we have and it’s a good idea to look ahead to Stoke at home next weekend.

Frustrating isn’t it. That’s the last 3 goals conceded all coming from that side and it’s so obvious.

So whenever we concede a goal from the right then it’s because of Galbraith? 😂

What about when they come from the left? Or the middle?

If that was the case, we would have 45 new defenders every season.
