• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Wake up call today, we have had a few of them this season.

Despite the odd sign here and there, we are certainly an average team/squad.
A lot of questions to be asked come the end of the season.

Still think this result like lots of games this season is our own doing. All backwards football. Oh well, let's see out the season and see what happens in the summer.

I think implementing this particular style of play midseason is a very tough ask. I remember Liverpool when they did it under Klopp had some very shaky results and performances when he came in at a not too dissimilar time to Matos this season. It took them time to get it right as it will with us. It will work long term but we’re going to need a full preseason for proper fitness and conditioning along with the right profiles which we lack at the moment.

In the grand scheme of things, we’ve gotten better under Matos but he has only been here a few months.
At home we are better, we are shockingly bad away from home.

Why would we be anything else?

We are having the best season since relegation outside the parachute years.

I don’t get that

Walta played a ball around someone to Stamenic so he could turn and drive at goal

Stamenic then runs back past the guy that Walta beat to turn and give it sideways to a defender
