I just felt compassion. And what the poor bloke had to go through. Hopefully the support will follow.

Agree. I think the film and John Davidson have done a superb job in raising awareness. Let’s hope better support follows.

Ok, so are you saying I am wrong, for feeling compassion? Yes, it’s funny, but In the context of the film, surely some parts aren’t funny, in what he had to put up with, through no fault of his own.

Yes. I understand. I must admit years gone by, I’ve laughed my head off at inappropriate untimely language at people, but when you watch the film, the funniness goes out of it? Maybe he’s just saying yes it’s funny, but please show some acceptance, we just can’t help what we say.

Got a customer in my workplace , not a yongster and has 2 carers to help him adapt .

If he has a meltdown the situation can be difficult , language and insults follow soon .
Occasions occur when he has scared other shoppers .

Had a chat with one of his carers at a calm time , severe autism and tourettes diagnosed .

How these carers on peanuts for wages cope with the difficulies involved , a nod to them .
