Cool, you could have just left it at that.Yep.
I mentioned it as my very first point in the post I made.

I just don’t see Galbraith fetching that much of a fee after this season. He’s a brilliant player and fantastic for us and I think we’ll keep him another season. He’s not done enough to stand out and command the fees some people have suggested on here.I agree. That’s why I said the other day that if we have a choice I’d sell Galbraith.
Underrated commentFantastic Mr.Swan
Just as well you won't be around next season. It’s obvious who you’re talking to Lisa because I can’t see it,don’t bother he goes out of his way to ruin just about every thread.
No way do we need an overhaul, we’ve got a lot of young players in their first season of championship football. We’re already getting the points to be close to top 6 since Matos. A bit of strengthening in a few positions is all we need and can probably afford.
I agree with most of that except for the “can really defend” partQuick Match Review - Widdel and Parker was fantastic today. Franco is really flourishing under Matos. He is more street wise and adds alot to the team. Stamenic will go unsung today but did fantastic. Eom deserves full credit today. That break from our box and to hold it was amazing. Walter needs time to adjust like Franco did. Showed we can really defend in past few games. Well done lads![]()
That's a fair and balanced observation.Great to get the three points today and to see the likes of Walta and Parker get significant minutes on the pitch.
My (mild) concern is that there were probably very similar posts to yours this time last season when we were on an even better run under Sheehan. The only players we lost who played significant parts in that end of season run were Darling and O'Brien, while we added plenty of new players over the summer, only to not exactly do well under the same manager this season.
Very True. Not saying it's a turning point or anything but we have improved in certain areas. And shown grit to get the win or fight backI agree with most of that except for the “can really defend” part
Before today we had conceded 12 goals in five games![]()
I’m glad you spotted that too, I was fearful I was missing something. (I’m on and off CH a lot at the moment). It’s Swansea City Football 2002, isn’t it?Great. I’ll tell you all about them when they get round to filing them.
That's a fair and balanced observation.
Personally feel we have a better nucleus of squad compared to this time last season.
Fingers crossed we don't end up changing managers again mid season, I honestly feel that won't be the case next season.I'm leaning that way also. We have a lot of younger players likely to be in the squad next season who have the potential to improve - Parker, Lissah, Galbraith, Inoussa, Widdell, Walta, Eom, even Vipotnik has only just turned 24.
In fact, almost the entirety of our first team squad are 26 or younger, with Vigs, Burgess, Fulton being the exceptions. It's a good position to be in.
I also think (and hope) that Matos is a better manager than Sheehan for the long haul rather than just a short-term bounce.
