• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

Stop the boats

I honestly can’t wait to see what the right jump on when the boats have been stopped or nigh on stopped. No doubt it’ll be the sick and infirm next.
Come October if the stats are similarly positive (the reduction started last October) it’ll be “hmm. Let’s wait till spring see if it’s maintained”.

They won’t countenance anything that ruins their world view or narrative. Because they’ve got literally nothing else except “brown people on boats”.

I'd be happy to see zero people coming over on small boats. Anyone wishing to come here to the UK, will be welcome with open arms, as has been the case for decades, but only through the proper channels (no pun intended).

What are the proper channels? How does one in France apply to come here?

No idea, I'm just saying there are or must be systems in place, if you want to come into the UK from another country, to work, or to escape persecution etc etc.

Unfortunately there isn’t another way. You have to be on British soil to claim asylum here. Most of those fleeing war torn countries haven’t got passports so can’t hop on a plane or ferry to get here, and with us being an island it makes it almost impossible, hence them getting on those death trap small boats.

They could always stay in France and claim asylum there mind.

Right wing, and I’m not arsed whether you like to think of yourself as being that or not, your previous on these subjects tell me that you are. Right wingers struggle when other people tell them this, just own it.

Own what?... my wasted Labour vote? Yeah okay.
