Don’t you think more people may vote on a non working weekend day? Most countries vote on weekends. It’s just common sense. What’s wrong with Thursday?

Most countries have them on Saturday or Sunday - I guess due to more people working in the week. What’s wrong with Thursday?
Wife is doing her usual stint as a poll clerk in Tycoch. She has her instructions that she’s not allowed to wear red, blue, light blue, green or orange. It’ll be black and white as usual.
She’s been doing it since just before Covid and has always been told to avoid wearing party political colours. It’s now more explicit and clear about what colours to avoid.I was a poll clerk 3 or 4 times, although not since Covid. I don't remember being told to avoid wearing certain colour clothing, is that a relatively new thing or did I just completely miss those instructions I wonder?
Don't forget to fluff your pillow, one must feel comfortableI’m flat out on Thursday but I’ll find a way. There’s no excuse really, I don’t buy it.
But could trial it maybe. I still think it will have minimal difference if any.
I'm a presiding officer tomorrow - wearing party colours is discouraged and we've been told to expect more potential questions regarding election integrity.I was a poll clerk 3 or 4 times, although not since Covid. First thing Reform will do if they don’t perform as they hope is shout “fixed election”. They did it when Plaid put them on their arse in Caerphilly a few months ago. Straight out of the MAGA playbook and their sheep like cult lap it all up.I'm a presiding officer tomorrow - wearing party colours is discouraged and we've been told to expect more potential questions regarding election integrity.
It's started already.First thing Reform will do if they don’t perform as they hope is shout “fixed election”. They did it when Plaid put them on their arse in Caerphilly a few months ago. Straight out of the MAGA playbook and their sheep like cult lap it all up.
Also feel some people say they are voting for Reform and don't actually bother voting at all.Last two polls tonight both show Plaid as the largest party by varying percentages.
I wonder if there’s such a thing as a shy Reform vote as people won’t admit to pollsters that they plan on voting for them. It’s always been a bit of a thing that pollsters tended to underestimate the Tory vote at least partly for that reason. We’ll find out on Friday I suppose.
That may also be possible. Although the right wing vote tends to skew older and older people are always more likely to vote. Also feel some people say they are voting for Reform and don't actually bother voting at all.
